Connecting Global Growth with Local Payment Experiences

At the HaiPay booth, conversations centered on a practical challenge facing game companies entering different markets: global expansion requires more than reaching new players. Businesses must also enable users in each region to complete payments through familiar and accessible methods.

Markets can differ significantly in terms of payment preferences, card acceptance conditions, transaction currencies and settlement requirements. For game developers and publishers, these differences can directly affect checkout conversion, recurring revenue and the efficiency of day-to-day payment operations.

During the three-day BTOB exhibition, HaiPay presented its capabilities across global local acquiring, local payment methods, subscription payments, global fund distribution and card issuing services. The team also discussed how unified payment infrastructure can reduce the operational complexity of connecting with separate payment service providers across different markets.

Supporting Payment Scenarios Across the Player and Partner Lifecycle

Discussions at ChinaJoy extended beyond one-time player payments at checkout. As their businesses grow, game and digital entertainment companies need to manage a wider range of payment scenarios covering both player spending and partner settlements.

For businesses operating free-to-play games, digital content services or subscription models, payment infrastructure may need to support one-time purchases, in-game payments, recurring subscriptions and localized checkout experiences. On the operational side, companies may also need to distribute funds to overseas suppliers, content creators, promotional partners and other business partners.

HaiPay aims to connect these scenarios through localized payment capabilities, helping businesses bring global payment acceptance and fund distribution into a more unified and coordinated operational framework.

Adapting to Different Markets and Business Models

There is no single payment configuration that fits every game company. The right setup depends on factors including target markets, player demographics, transaction values, billing models, distribution channels and settlement requirements.

During ChinaJoy, the HaiPay team exchanged perspectives with companies at different stages of global expansion. These included teams preparing to enter their first international market and established operators seeking to improve payment performance across multiple regions.

The discussions further highlighted the importance of evaluating payment infrastructure according to actual business requirements. In addition to local payment method coverage, integration flexibility, transaction visibility, risk controls and reconciliation capabilities are important considerations, as is the ability to scale when entering new markets.

The Exhibition Has Ended, but the Conversation Continues

ChinaJoy 2026 gave HaiPay the opportunity to connect directly with partners across the gaming and digital entertainment ecosystem. It also helped the team gain a deeper understanding of the payment challenges businesses encounter as they expand globally.

Although the exhibition has concluded, the conversations will continue. HaiPay will remain engaged with game developers, publishers, digital content platforms and industry partners to explore payment solutions aligned with different markets, product models and growth strategies.

HaiPay thanks every industry partner who visited Booth W4-F101 and shared their perspectives with the team during ChinaJoy 2026.
